Angela Thomas-Santos

Angela Thomas-Santos brings a wealth of experience and understanding, as a holistically certified family nurse practitioner (FNP), (Indiana University, BSN, University of Illinois-Chicago, MS/FNP Public Health Nursing) Spiritual Director ( Loyola University-Chicago) and mindfulness teacher (MBSR Certified-UCSD). She brings a deeply compassionate presence to those navigating life’s most profound transitions. She has decades of experience in a variety of health care settings, including emergency care, family medicine, palliative and hospice, always with a holistic approach. She is especially honored, grateful and passionate about accompanying others on their spiritual and faith journey. Angela’s education and experience has as a holistically certified FNP, spiritual director, mindfulness educator, guided imagery provider and reiki master/energy worker allows her to be uniquely suited to help others with a truly holistic approach.

Driven by this passion, Angela created Holistic Peaceful Passing to support individuals and families through serious illness with heart-centered guidance, mindfulness, spiritual support and soulful connection. She has also developed Holistic Heart of Healing, LLC to provide comprehensive care and hold sacred space for healing and transformation. Her book “There are worse things than dying, a guide for the living” is to be published spring 2026. Angela is a wife, mother, grandmother and rescue dog-mom. She cherishes time with loved ones, finds joy in being of service and draws inspiration and peace from nature, especially water. Rooted in her Greek heritage, cooking, hosting and sharing meals is one of her love languages. When not caring for others, speaking, writing or leading retreats, she enjoys reading, contemplation, gardening, games, walking, hiking and swimming.
